    Initially started in a modest Indiana storefront, Fred VanSenus Sr. purchased a used box truck and began by supplying
    parts to local service stations. With the support of his wife, Irene, VanSenus’ reputation and business grew rapidly. By the
    late 1950's, Fred Jr. and his brother Don were heavily involved in the motor sports, racing and street performance scene.
    Entrepreneurs in their own right, the VanSenus brothers expanded the business to include a speed shop, a machine shop,
    and multiple locations.  In addition, they implemented programs to address the custom paint marketplace and deployed
    emerging technologies to ensure the delivery of quality performance parts to customers nationwide. Customer satisfaction
    soared and in 1998 the VanSenus family and their extended family of employees were recognized by their peers through
    SEMA with the industries highest national award. Similarily, in 2001, Fred Van Senus Jr. was recognized as an "Industry
    Pioneer" with the industries most prestigious individual award as presented by his peers and PWA. Fred Jr., and Don
    VanSenus have recently been joined in the family business by their sons, Jim and Scott VanSenus. With a corporate
    culture built on Fred Sr.'s four basic business beliefs, VanSenus Auto Parts is today one of the oldest, largest, and most
    trusted family-owned automotive parts businesses in the nation.
